Had a mini birthday party in a group of four at this in-house restaurant at Novotel near Southbank not long ago. Ambience is good and service is hospital.
After perusal of the menu, we decided to have tapa style by ordering a few dishes to share among us. We placed the order of “Four Pillar” gin cured ocean trout, chargrilled Moreton bay bug, charcuterie broad, golden snapper, Borrowdale pork chop and the ink linguine.
Dishes gradually came to our table. We could not pick up which one is the best because they are average over the standard. Taste is well balanced. The freshness of the seafood and high quality of other protein reflect the chef’ passion in serving a menu with foods are something different and more interesting than we can have in other restaurant.

After numerous times dining with these guys and on separate occasions, I keep coming away mesmerised by the value for money in their offerings. On each occasion, we ordered their Ocean Tasting coursed menu which remained consistent throughout!
An amazing venue coupled with knowledgeable staff that are passionate about their offerings and who seem always on the ball equals a winner in my eyes. Talk about wines, champagnes and spirits, all of which are also presented to a high standard. Recommended!
